CLEARWATER, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–PODS Enterprises has experienced solid business gains, leading the company to hire an additional 116 employees for its Clearwater headquarters and other locations across the U.S. and Canada to accommodate its growth in the moving and storage industry.
“PODS is doing very well, that’s why we’re hiring 116 people,” said Lisa Goettel, Senior Vice President of PODS’ Human Resources division. “Most new hires will be stationed in our call center, earning between $35,000 and $50,000 per year.”
A monthly report from the State of Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation indicates the only sectors to see job growth are health care, education, and government. All other industries reported staffing declines, the state said*. This makes PODS something of an anomaly – bucking the trend to expand during a recession.
