Outplacement Services Cost & Pricing
Transparent, per-participant outplacement pricing, published ranges, no long-term contracts, and no discovery-call gauntlet just to learn what support costs.
CONTACT USOur industry-leading outplacement services pricing is straightforward: you pay per participant, tiered by the level of support each employee needs, with the ranges below published right here. No per-seat minimums. You buy support for the people who need it, when they need it, and the quality earns the next engagement.
One thing before the numbers, because it is the honest context for all of them: every tier below is delivered by our in-house team. Real certified career coaches. Resumes written one on one by Certified Professional Resume Writers. Live support, not a software login with a sympathy card attached. When you compare our ranges to cheaper quotes, and cheaper quotes exist, ask the only question that matters: who actually works with my employees, and will they actually use it? Portal-based programs routinely see fewer than half of participants ever engage. Ours are built so that the support gets used, because support nobody uses is expensive at any price.
Let’s Talk About Outplacement Services Cost & Pricing
CONTACT USPricing Ranges By Tier
Exact pricing depends on program length and the options you select; current per-participant pricing is available instantly, online or in one phone call. The ranges:
Digital Outplacement, under $500 per participant. Powered by Careerology, our on-demand platform: the complete job search video curriculum, downloadable resume and cover letter templates from our professional writers, and months of access. The right fit for large hourly populations on careful budgets, or as a baseline layer beneath coached tiers, honest, useful support at a price any company can extend to everyone.
Professional Tier, roughly $800 – $2500 per participant. Our core coached outplacement for individual contributors and hourly through mid-level professional employees: one-on-one sessions with a certified career coach, a resume written by a CPRW, LinkedIn optimization, job search strategy, and interview preparation, scaled by program length.
Manager & Director Tier, roughly $3000 – $7500 per participant. Expanded support for people leaders and senior professionals: more coaching time, deeper materials including tailored positioning, curated job leads and recruiter connections, and negotiation support, matched to searches that run longer and carry more complexity.
Executive Tier, typically $7,500 and up. Discreet, senior-level transition support for VPs through the C-suite: a dedicated senior coach and executive writer, executive-grade positioning packages, search firm strategy, board and investor interview preparation, and engagements scoped to the realistic timeline of a senior search. Full details on our executive outplacement page.
Group workshops and event services, quoted by event. On-site or virtual workshop series for larger populations, notification day support, manager training, and RIF planning consultation are scoped to your event, in days, not weeks, and quoted plainly.
What Every Tier Includes
Whatever the level, some things are constants here. Every coached participant works with a real, certified coach who is an Employment BOOST employee, never a subcontractor, never a queue. Every resume is written and reviewed by a real CPRW, with the participant, not generated at them. Every program includes our engagement discipline, coaches who reach out, follow up, and keep people moving, because utilization is a deliverable, not a hope. And every actively engaged participant is backed by our service extension policy: people who are doing the work and need more time get it. The program ends when people land, not when a clock runs out.

CONTACT USWhat Moves The Number
Four factors, so you can estimate before you call. Level of the participants, the tiers above, matched honestly; we will tell you when a lower tier genuinely serves someone, because right-sizing beats overselling. Program length, longer access costs more and suits senior roles and tight markets. Group size and event scope, larger events gain program efficiencies, and on-site components are priced to the event. Add-ons, workshops layered under coached tiers, manager notification training, planning consultation, and pre/post-event surveys, each quoted plainly. What never moves the number: urgency. Compressed timelines are our normal operating condition, and we do not surcharge companies for having hard weeks.
Closing Pitch
Outplacement pricing is a strange corner of business: companies buy it on their hardest days, for people they are worried about, from an industry that mostly refuses to say what anything costs. We publish our ranges for the same reason we do everything else the way we do: because the companies we serve deserve straight answers, starting with the first one they ask.
So here is the straight answer in full. Real support for a departing employee costs somewhere between a few hundred dollars and the price of a senior engagement, depending on the person and the moment, and every dollar of it is delivered by our own people, guaranteed by our own extensions, and purchasable today without a contract that outlives the need. Get exact pricing in one call, or buy online this afternoon and have support ready for your people this week. Twenty-five years in, that is still how we think this should work.
