1.1 How does the process work?

Depending on the service(s) purchased, Employment BOOST offers a strategic multi-step process.

  • The Resume & Documents Submission – You can simply upload your resume via our website or via e-mail to resumesupport@EmploymentBOOST.com. Additional documents applicable for submission include: cover letter, references, and/or prospective job positions.
  • The Content Development Questionnaire - Upon your resume's complimentary evaluation, a content development questionnaire will be sent to the e-mail address provided. This questionnaire will serve as the framework of your new Employment BOOST resume and will be utilized by the expert resume writers of Employment BOOST to reference during your personal consultation.
  • The Complimentary Consultation – A 30-minute phone or in-person discussion to elaborate on your career, work experience and other professional informational pieces. A dedicated expert career consultant will schedule an appointment and contact you accordingly. This service is dependent on the service(s) purchased.
  • The Drafting Process – A collaborative drafting process is initiated to make changes, edits, corrections or addition of additional content to your resume or additional services purchased.
  • The Delivery – A final delivery of finished documents will be submitted to the client on behalf of the Employment BOOST professional resume writing team. This portion of the process requires the customer to review the documents for errors, technical glitches or items lost in translation.

We have traditional resume writers that we partner with, including certified resume writers from varying organizations. Employment BOOST is also a member of the PARW/CC, the most respected resume writer and career coaching association in the United States.

Our expert resume writers are also Certified Professional Resume Writers (CPRW.) What really makes us different is our ability to maximize our resources at JMJ Phillip, an Executive Search Firm, to gain a deep understanding from Executive Recruiters on what the hiring managers want for each particular position that they are searching to fill.

As a division of JMJ Phillip Holdings, we integrate the full potential of each of our brands to provide employment and career services on an exceptional level. Resume writing is an art form, but we believe that understanding the employment market is just as important.  When you combine an Employment BOOST traditional professional resume writer with an expert hiring consultant, the chances of success greatly increase.

1.3 How long does it take to have my resume finished?

For our standard purchase services, a first draft submission is provided to the client within one business week of the content development consultation. Often, a first-draft submission can be completed in 1-5 business days; however, during certain times of the year, dependent on peak times, a final draft can take up to several days post the first-draft submission.

Considering the process is collaborative between Employment BOOST’s expert resume writers and the client, a timeline may not be firm upon purchase. Completion of the resume is contingent upon feedback from the customer in terms of needed information and draft updates.

Nevertheless, Employment BOOST offers a resume rush service for an additional fee (please review our menu of services).

1.4 Do I need a cover letter?

The professional resume writers of Employment BOOST strongly encourage job candidates to offer cover letters to prospective employers or job applications. While not always  necessary, they do serve a purpose for many different situations.

A strong cover letter sets you apart from other candidates and allows the hiring managers to focus on your best accolades.  Our professional writers at Employment BOOST know the right phrases and accomplishments that should be highlighted in your cover letter to create a noteworthy professional brand of job candidates, enticing decision-makers to stop and read more of your resume and content.

1.5 How long are my service(s) valid?

Services will be finalized based on the due date, which based on the purchase date. If you do not provide the necessary information to complete the service, services will be completed and finalized based on the information we do have. Make sure you get the information to the writing team as fast as you can. The longer you wait, the tougher it is on everyone. We can only succeed at what we do best, when we have the information provided to us in a timely manner.


 

2.1 What payment options does Employment BOOST offer?

You may pay by Visa, MasterCardDiscoverAmerican Express. Additional funding options are available if you already have a PayPal account.  If you do not have a PayPal account, you can simply create a profile via PayPal.com.

2.2 Does Employment BOOST offer a payment plan?

A payment plan is available via PayPal for purchases over $99. Users of PayPal are applicable for financing up to six months. Please visit PayPal.com for additional financing options.
